Managerial Support
Manager Support Through Our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
Managers play a critical role in creating psychologically healthy workplaces. They are often the first to notice changes in an employee’s behaviour, performance or wellbeing — but many are unsure how to start supportive conversations, manage sensitive situations or guide employees towards appropriate help.
As part of the ResilienceWorks Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), we equip managers with the knowledge, confidence and professional support they need to respond effectively while maintaining appropriate workplace boundaries.
Our manager support services include:
Manager Consultation
Managers can confidentially consult with experienced EAP professionals for guidance on handling challenging workplace situations, behavioural concerns, interpersonal conflicts, performance changes or employees experiencing emotional distress.
Manager Referrals
When a team member may benefit from professional support, managers can make sensitive referrals to the EAP, helping employees access confidential counselling early and appropriately.
Manager Mental Health & EAP Training
Our specialised manager training programmes help leaders:
- Recognise early signs of stress, burnout and emotional distress
- Respond to employees with empathy and confidence
- Have supportive conversations without taking on the role of a counsellor
- Make timely and appropriate referrals to the EAP
- Foster psychological safety and employee wellbeing within their teams
By empowering managers to identify concerns early and respond appropriately, organisations can strengthen employee wellbeing, improve engagement, reduce the impact of mental health challenges on performance and build more resilient, high-performing teams.
